Broken Glass Jello
She calls her creation broken glass jello, but it reminds me of the beautiful Tiffany's leaded stained glass windows. Maybe because I live near by one of Tiffany's most comprehensive museums, or maybe because I am fond of childhood memories of old cathedrals with the light streaming in through the colored glass, either way, what Mary, aka the Food Librarian, does with Jello amazes me and inspires me. Her broken glass is the simplest recipe she has in her food library. The secret to the white gelatin that holds it all together? Sweetened condensed milk. Yum. This is the grow-up version of Jello. It is beautiful to behold.
