Happy New Year's!.....There is a rainbow in my drink!
This new year's eve, I am making these rainbow drinks. They are inspired by Camper English from Alcademics. My version will be tame, he uses St. Germain elderflower liqueur, but making the colored ice cubes will be fun. I am making my colored ice cubes with fruit juices from my own trees. I am lucky enough to have lemon, orange and grapefruit trees in my patio. Camper English is a brilliant cocktails and spirits writer. He wrote Party Like Rockstar Even When You're Poor as Dirt. Rainbow Brite would love it!
Matcha Tortoro Home-Made Cookies
Totoro Matcha Cookies were created by Jen from Tiny Urban Kitchen. Matcha is finely milled green tea often used in sweets such as green tea flavored ice cream, cakes, and cookies. Jen put ingenuiety to work by using plastic rabbit egg molds to create the Totoro shapes. A simple sugar cookie dough and matcha provides bites of art. Brilliant, cute, sweet! Have you tried matcha in any of your recipies? Tell us how.
